UNICOM Global announces day one support for IBM CICS Transaction Server (TS) for z/OS 6.2

Mission Hills, CA, June 13, 2024 – UNICOM Global has announced it will provide day one support for IBM’s CICS Transaction Server for z/OS 6.2, which is due for release on June 14, 2024.

CICS Transaction Server for z/OS 6.2 introduces a range of new features to support developer productivity and improve the security, management and resilience of enterprise applications. The latest CICS release has a very wide range of exciting new features. Developers can now use Java 17 in CICS TS and there is also enhanced container support.
